Plaistow is an area  to the east of Newham which is only a stone’s throw  away from Stratford but away from the main buzz for those who want to be able to enjoy what this very vibrant neighbourhood has to offer while living in a calmer area.

Plaistow is very well connected to the heart of London and its financial districts, which makes it an obvious choice for young professionals and families, served by excellent local schools and hospitals.

In a recent Londonist article the local Black Lion pub at Plaistow, was nominate as the best pub in Newham, full of East End character and the exhausted teachers and staffers from the hospital around the corner. It is also home to the West Ham Boys Amateur Boxing Club, a special local landmark.

Transport

Plaistow station is only a few minutes away from the city center with the District and Hammersmith and City lines bringing you to Liverpool Street, King’s Cross St Pancras and Victoria station in a very short period of time. The DLR is also very close with Abbey Road station and West Ham station which connect Plaistow to Canary Wharf via Canning Town and London City Airport. Stratford International is only a few stops away, which connects you to Stansted airport or areas in Kent where you can  enjoy weekends by the seaside in Margate or Dover.
